We are looking for an Acupuncturist with a passion for holistic health and helping others. The responsibilities of an Acupuncturist include preparing herbal treatments, collecting the medical history of clients, and treating clients using needles and other tools.
To be successful as an Acupuncturist, you should demonstrate compassion, possess knowledge of laws and regulations, and have a strong interest in alternative medicine. Ultimately, a top-notch Acupuncturist should be accredited, equipped with proven Acupuncturist experience, and strong analytical skills.

Acupuncturist Requirements:
- Accreditation as an Acupuncturist with College and association Acupuncturists of Alberta CAAA
- License to practice Acupuncture and in good standing with the accredited institution (provide a copy of license)
- Completed bachelor degree in a health-related field
- Professional, reliable & punctual
- Liability insurance
- Criminal records check
Assets:
- 3 years clinic experience minimum
- Have worked with chronic pain clientele
- Registered massage therapist
- Approved to perform acupuncture
- Open to working Saturday or Sunday, plus weekdays/evenings
- Excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities:
- Perform acupuncture initial assessments and treatments to improve the client’s natural self-healing and prevent or treat illness
- Compassion for helping clients.
- Collaborate with other health care practitioners to develop and implement short and long term client care plans. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Revival
- Uphold and follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee/Contractor Handbook
- Welcoming to all members entering the clinic and providing general guidance regarding acupuncture
- Preparing, maintaining, and cleaning the cups and other medical apparatus that are used during treatment
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments including completing payment transactions, handling insurance records, and answering and/or transferring clients’ inquiries
- Assist with other clinic activities as required
