Course Description

This course introduces students the fundamental theory of acupuncture, including the theory of meridians and collaterals, and the theory of acupoints. The detailed information related to meridians and collaterals and acupoint locations of six meridians of the foot, and extra acupoints will be covered in this course.

Course Objective

Upon completion of this course, you shall be able to:

• Demonstrate knowledge and skills pertaining to  pathways, indications of the six meridians of the foot
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills pertaining to locations, actions, indications and contraindications, and dangerous acupoints the six meridians of the foot, and
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills pertaining to locations, actions, indications, and contraindications of the extra acupoints.
