Course Description

The focus of this course is to understand the health of the female reproductive system, including conception, pregnancy and post-partum related concerns.  We will look at physiology, pathology, etiology, diagnosis and proper treatment of many gynecological diseases and/or symptoms.

Course Objective

Familiarize the student with the female reproductive system through the lens of Western and Eastern approaches.   Become proficient in diagnosis and treatment of a variety of symptoms and disease related to gynecology and obstetrics.
