Course Description

This course provides students with the opportunity to see the patients in the teaching clinic under supervision. The basic communication skills between patients and acupuncturist will be developed. The procedures of consultation and treatment of patients in clinic will be covered. The knowledge of writing  case record in clinic will be emphasized.

Course Objective

Upon completion of this course, you shall be able to:

• Demonstrate knowledge of the procedure of the clinical practice of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, and
• Demonstrate the knowledge of writing case record, performing physical exam, making diagnosis, and performing acupuncture, moxibustion, and cupping on patients with common disorders in clinic.
