The purpose of the course is to build a solid knowledge of the bones and muscles of the human body. Students are taught the names of the bone structures as well as the features of each bone. This course includes the musculature of the whole body, the origin of the muscle tissue, its insertion, and the range of activities that the muscle can undertake. This course will also introduce the nervous innervations of muscles in the body. The course also includes instruction in the muscular actions, and kinesiology, of the body and trunk – both primary and accessory actions.
