Course Description

The first part of this course covers the legal aspects related to the profession of acupuncturists in Alberta. The second part of this course focuses on risk management principles in the acupuncture/TCM clinic.

Course Objective

 After successful completion of this course, the student will have a  clear understanding of various aspects of legislature relevant to the practice of acupuncture in Alberta. The student will also know how to perform acupuncture modalities in a safe manner by applying specific risk management techniques in an acupuncture clinic.
