Course Description
This course provides students with regulations of TCM and acupuncture in Canada with a focus on those in Alberta and British Columbia. This course also introduces students ethics in practicing acupuncture and TCM, the communication skills among TCM Doctors, patients and other health care professionals, as well as clean needle technique
Course Objective
Upon completion of this course, you shall be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of TCM and acupuncture regulation in Canada
- Demonstrate knowledge of ethics in practicing acupuncture in Canada
- Demonstrate knowledge of the communication skills among TCM Doctors, patients and other health care professionals
- Demonstrate the basic knowledge in terms of history of traditional Chinese medicine, and
- Demonstrate knowledge of clean needle technique.
