Course Description

Shang Han Lun was written by Zhang Zhongjing in the third century. It is one of the most important ancient classics of TCM. Zhang Zhongjing was the first TCM Doctor in the history of TCM to advocate the theory of the six meridians and to apply the theory to the analyses and classification of the exogenous diseases. Many formulas and differentiation methods in this book is still widely applied in clinic situations now. The main goal of this course is to provide students with detailed knowledge of this classic.

Course Objective

Get to know some detailed lines of Shang Han Lun, try to understand the thought of Zhang zhongjing, and learn the method to prescribe the formulas.
