Dr. Hung (Huwell) Tran

Dr. Hung (Huwell) Tran graduated from The HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Saigon (Vietnam) in 1982. After 4 years of residency at several hospitals in Internal Medicine and Surgery, he started his post-graduate education, during which he had been spending 18 months as a Visiting Fellow at the School of Medicine, University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia). Hung obtained his Ph.D. degree of Anatomy in 1994; as well as, an MBA from the University of Brussels (Belgium, 1997). In 2013 he migrated to Canada, took courses at SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) and was granted ‘Ready to Teach and Instructional Skills Certificates’ from SAIT. Since 2014 Dr. Hung (Huwell) Tran has redirected his interest and occupation to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Hung’s multi-tracking occupation includes more than 15 years of teaching Anatomy & Physiology and Healthcare Management at The University of Medicine and Pharmacy at HCM City, School of Nursing of Western International University, Saigontech (Affiliate of Houston Community College USA in Vietnam); together with activities as western medicine practitioner, healthcare administrative, corporate trainer at different Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Institutions. He is co-authors of 3 Anatomy Textbooks and has published 7 articles.
