As a former physician and recent graduate from the acupuncture program in Halifax, Dr. Boux is very excited to be teaching biomedicine at the CCTCMA. With over 20 years of experience in the specialty of Anesthesia (including intensive care medicine and chronic pain clinic ) as well as prior work experience in emergency room medicine, Dr. Boux is uniquely qualified to deliver current, high-quality information in the Pathology/Microbiology section of the curriculum, as well as other biomedical courses. She also practices as a Registered Acupuncturist in Calgary NW and soon, Cochrane. Dr. Boux looks forward to bringing biomedicine to life by sharing anecdotes and prior hands-on experience so as to enrich the learning experience of her students. When not at work Dr. Boux enjoys painting visionary art and hiking the wilderness with her family.
