Dr. Marc Raedschelders

Marc Raedschelders graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1978. In 1983 he started his training in TCM at the European University for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Belgium from which he received his diploma in 1986. He continued with advanced TCM education in Europe, China, and Canada. He studied in Beijing (1986, 1991) and Nanjing (1998) and continued upgrading in China on a regular basis (2004-2011). In 1999, he started coordinating the Acupuncture Program at Grant MacEwan University where he chaired this program until 2011. Marc is a Registered Acupuncturist and member of several national and international professional acupuncture /TCM associations. He is past president of the Acupuncture – TCM Society of Alberta (President from 1997 to 2000). He was also a member of the Board of Examiners in Acupuncture (1995 to 1999) and a member of the Acupuncture Committee for many years, both ministerial appointments from the province of Alberta. Until 2011, he served as Vice-President of the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA). He is a diplomat of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) (U.S.) and also completed his NADA requirements for Acupuncture Detox Specialist (ADS). Marc has extensive TCM experience as a practitioner, educator, and administrator.
