Dr. Dawne Engele is a busy naturopathic doctor who is looking for an acupuncturist to work closely with at the Canmore Health & Wellness Centre. Located downtown Canmore, this multidisciplinary clinic is an ideal location to establish a thriving TCM and acupuncture practice. We are proud to be the “one stop shop” for holistic healthcare in the Bow Valley. Work with a chiropractor, massage therapists, psychologists, and medical aestheticians as a potent
source of cross-referrals.

This arrangement is very much dependent on “fit.” Dr. Dawne would like to work with you actively on patient cases, collaborating on treatment approaches and plans to coordinate a truly holistic treatment plan for clinic patients. Dr. Dawne attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, which hosts the best TCM training program of all naturopathic colleges. She places great value on the TCM approach and would like to provide
her patients with a well-rounded approach to their wellness, which includes TCM.

Dr. Dawne treats a great deal of anxiety, stress, digestive disorders, and hormonal imbalances. She is the only doctor in the Bow Valley offering IV Vitamin Infusions, and she also offers prolotherapy treatments. Canmore is home to some of the best athletes in the world, so experience with injury rehabilitation and sport performance enhancement is a distinct asset (but not required).

Everything is provided: a beautiful treatment room with an electronic table, linens, reception services, online booking and charting software (Jane), direct billing, and a steady flow of new patients. You will have access to a well-stocked dispensary. TCM herbal formulas will be stocked according to your prescribing preferences.

Dr. Dawne is looking for a good fit with a practitioner who is dedicated to building a practice in Canmore, who is self-motivated to cultivate potential new patients, and who is driven to maintain a thriving practice. This position is part-time, and requires availability on Thursday, Friday, and potentially Saturdays. Hours are negotiable. Remuneration is commission-based and commensurate with experience.
